Mr Hammond was an amazing teacher, feel so lucky that he along with Emma taught both my daughters whilst at Knaphill School. l remember once he told one of the girls off for not following an instruction on homework. I went in and said to be honest l told her to do that it made more sense, and was told thats why lm the teacher Mrs Freeland and your not, please keep your ideas to yourself. That was me told and from that day l had a very high respect for him. Liked him very much and it was a real fairy tale for the school when Brian and Emma tied the knot. Oh what joy when Milly was born that was the icing on the cake. Jane Freeland
