I was so sorry to hear this sad news, Mr Hammond and Miss batley as i knew them were both teaching my children back in the day my son Neil was alway close to then miss Batley  but i did know mr Hammond very wrll he was a great teacher and i was glad to hear the year after neil left knaphill junior school that he had been made deputy head he was a great teacher and my prayers and thoughts are with his family at this very sad time x
